There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that a funnel is absolutely essential for marketing your business online, but I see so many female coaches, course creators and digital product creators make this one mistake.
Before I share this with you, I want you to know that I know you are marketing online because you actually care about your audience and the transformation you provide, but somewhere along the way you got caught up in the whole ‘bro marketing’ online marketing funnel world.
I see it time and time again when brilliant and amazing female course creators and coaches 100% lose themselves, their voice and sales when trying to use a “cookie cutter” funnel.
Your funnel aka the way you sell your course, program or coaching has to MATCH your audience – otherwise it doesn’t work.
What do I mean by this?
Let’s talk about online challenges…
They are super popular at the moment, I’ve run ads for at least a dozen this year alone. And do they work?
Yep, 100% for some people and their audiences they are a match made in heaven.
For others – a complete flop…
I believed I’ve registered for every single challenge in the last 3 years, but haven’t attended one!
As a woman who is balancing a multi 6 figure business while only working school hours, the only way to achieve my goals is to prioritise my time.
This means if you are going live 3 days in a row at 10am – chances are I’m deep in client work, coaching or content creation.
Believe me, I had every intention of attending live but in reality it doesn’t really work with my schedule.
However if I can watch the content on demand – or better yet, read it while I’m watching Lego Masters then you’ve got my attention.
It’s time to forget about the ‘bro marketers’, ‘cookie cutters’ formula and “what’s popular’ right now and ask your audience what would work best for them.
