I’ve been following Melissa Ambrosini online since we were in the same Facebook Group the year we both did Marie Forleo’s BSchool. From memory it was 2011 or 2012 and since then I’ve seen Melissa and her business grow from strength to strength.
While we have never met in person I feel an instant connection due to our Italian heritage.
I’m a big fan of her book – Mastering Your Mean Girl, the podcast The Melissa Ambrosini Show and I make time to watch her daily stories on Instagram. She has recently released her second book – Open Wide.
Her passion for life is infectious and I hope you enjoy the interview below.

What does an average day look like?
No two days are every the same (thank goodness) because that would be super boring. But I will give you a run down of a common day in summer here in Australia. I wake pretty early in summer around 5:15am and do my morning routine. The first few hours of the day are dedicated to me and my family. I start my day by connecting with my husband and we always ask each other what are three things we’re grateful for. I then meditate for 20 minutes, do some movement — either F45, a walk or some yoga, and if it’s summer, I’ll add in a dip in the ocean (or what I like to call an ‘Aura cleanse’).
Once I’ve had my morning time for me I start ‘work’ (I can hardly call what I do work because I love it so much) around 8:30am-ish. I work until lunch time making sure I do all my most important tasks (MIT’S) first thing so I get them done. I then make a delicious healthy lunch at home and enjoy it mindfully in the sun with my husband. We live on the beach so after lunch I may go for another swim it I feel like it.
The afternoon is usually meetings, going to the post office, a catch up or cup of tea with a friend, school pick up, team calls or more work. I end my day with another 20 minute meditation before making a healthy and delicious meal for my family. And after dinner we will head to the beach away for a walk and another swim before heading to bed super early – like 8:30am early 😉
What is your current annual business revenue?
No answer provided
Are you happy with this revenue level?
Yes.
Has your revenue increased or decreased over the life of your business?
Increased.
When you hear that only 2% of businesses that are owned by women have revenue of over $1 million, how does that make you feel?
I would love to see women earning what they desire for their life.
What are your goals for the future?
I want to continue to write best selling books and to create epic podcasts that inspire millions. I want to continue to lead my team and tribe with love and passion.
What assistance do you need to achieve your goals or what do you think is holding you back?
Nothing. It’s going to happen 😉
Who inspires you?
My husband – Broadhurst – is my biggest inspiration. He is an amazing musician and entrepreneur and the way he does life and business inspire me so much.
Why did you go into business for yourself? Would you do it again?
Hell yeah! Working for yourself doing what you love is the best ever.
On days when you want to quit, what keeps you going?
My mission which is to inspire women to unlock their full potential and live the life of their dreams.
Any tips or advice for juggling life, family, friends, health and your business?
Make space in your calendar for all of these things. If you don’t put time for all these amazing things in your calendar it won’t happen so schedule in time daily.
Is your partner supportive of your business and has that changed over time?
He sure is! He is the CEO of my biz which is amazing. I love working with him.
How have you invested in yourself or your business?
I am constantly investing in myself and business by doing workshops and courses to expand my knowledge.
